This was pretty good. I expected it to be a little more hilarious, but overall it was entertaining. I don’t like Mila Kunis and her voice annoys me, but whatever. I also dislike in movies when the woman is so determined to make the man change completely (like in 40 Year Old Virgin) because it’s like, what do you love about the guy that you want to completely change something that is such a huge part of him? I think people have to mature, obviously, but I don’t know, it seems to lack compromise. Having said this, I feel I am reading too much into comedies. Parts of it were also too long, and as usual, I noticed a continuity problem, but it doesn’t bother me quite as much as in a cartoon where there is really no excuse. Oh, and I liked that it took place in Boston and I recognized a lot of the locations. :) I was also annoyed by these girls who were sitting behind me who were the type that had to proclaim “That’s so funny!” all the time so the rest of the theater could rest assured they had good senses of humor and got the jokes. This irritated me to no end, so I may have enjoyed it more without their presence.
